Joint Finishing: Apply a thin layer of OSG with a 6″” blade between the gypsum board joint, embed joint tape with an 8″” blade, and feather out. Let dry, then apply a second coat. Finish with a thin smooth coat using a 10″” blade for joints and a 6″” blade for fasteners.
Finish Outside Corners: Attach metal corner bead or tape to drywall. Apply and let dry the first coat on both sides of the external corner, then the second coat slightly beyond the first. Finish with a thin, smooth coat.
Finish Inside Corners: Apply OSG with a 6″” blade, press joint tape from the centre into position, embed, and remove excess. Apply thin coats on both sides, let each dry. The second coat similarly slightly beyond the first, then finishes with a smooth coat.
